Highway 61

One of the very best motorcycle roads in Minnesota is this portion of Route 61 that takes you along the Lake Superior shoreline. There are numerous parks to explore along the way, including Tettegouge State Park and Split Lighthouse State Park. There's beautiful views of the coastal line, but especially if you take this route from north to south.

Lake Minnetonka Shoreline Loop

Routes 15, 19, 51 (18 miles)

Ride this loop around the many Lake Minnetonka Bays and enjoy the beautiful lake views and marinas. It's best to take this MN motorcycle ride on a early morning or weekday as there is heavy traffic on summer weekends.
